I deconverted from that Church. I do recall there being nunneries in orthodox countries but the place to enquire is obviously in the church itself not this website. Or to to the wiki article and follow the links at the bottom.

Yes a convert can become a nun. The monastic life is not an easy life and it is not often right for a recent convert. I would have two basic recommendations:
1. Pray constantly for discernment to be sure that you are called to the monastic life.
2. Seek counsel from your spiritual father about the calling you feel.
As Orthodoxy holds, often times we sense a calling, but it is the work of demons, filling us with pride and thinking we are somehow special or necessary, rather than the unworthy sinners that we are. It is important that you clearly discern the source of the call before you proceed.
Speak to your priest about that. He would know more about that – and be able to guide you more – than any of us could. But yes, converts can become nuns in the Orthodox Church.
