There isn't any RCIA in the orthodox church. Just one on one with the catechumen and the priest. Well the priest that was instructing me for seven months is retiring in august. Does that mean when a new priest comes in that he will make me wait even longer?

Presumably the retiring priest will let his replacement know the business of the parish before he leaves, including upcoming reception of sacraments.
Put in your need/request and see the priest and ask him
to explain to the new priest. I usually have a letter ready
outlining things so he can just sign it. I’d get the
name of the new person if known, and find out all
I could, when I could check back. If the new priest
had an e-mail (who does not??), I’d likely e-mail him.
He may of course have a few other things to go
over with you, in which case, that’s OK, as long
as it’s not to redo.
No need to worry, our Heavenly Father already has it worked out for you!
